I offer 3 kinds of Do-It-Yourself Divorce Kits.

The "Do-It-Yourself" Divorce Kit #1 is completed in our office so that we make sure you do it properly. The fee is under $200.00 payable in cash when you come into the office.

It was designed for people with no minor children, no property (other than vehicles), no house and no joint debts. The couple must have already divided their furnishings, clothing, and cash.

  • My paperwork was designed to be used in the Harris County, Texas family courts. Each county has a set of local rules, but the basic forms should work throughout the State of Texas.

  • The kit walks you through the divorce process step-by-step; where to park, what to wear to court, what to say in front of the Judge, etc.

  • BEWARE OF INTERNET WEBSITES THAT SELL DIVORCE FORMS AND KITS FOR SALE IN OFFICE SUPPLY STORES OR BOOKSTORES! I HAVE SEEN SEVERAL KITS THAT DO NOT MEET THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE STATE OF TEXAS. BASICALLY -- BUYER BEWARE! Read the fine print before you purchase! If the working includes "State-Specific Forms are not Included" then you are not buying a kit that will work!

  • No attorney-client relationship is established when you come into my office, I merely assist you in completing the required paperwork.

  • You represent yourself in court. (You are called a “pro se” plaintiff).

  • Your spouse MUST be willing to sign all paperwork without being served by a process server.

  • All divorces in Texas must be on file at the courthouse for at least 60 days (Family Code Section 6.702)
Kit #1: No kids, no debts, no property & no disputes
Cost: Under $199 cash or money order
